2016 Vide Noir Red Blend
Fountain Grove AVA, Sonoma County

Vide Noir is a dark and immersive red blend made in collaboration between Lord Huron and Echo Echo Wine Company. The style and flavor was inspired by an earthy Rhone blend tasted by the band on a European tour, and was crafted to complement the band’s new album, Vide Noir.

Tasting Notes

Deep purple. . . in the glass. Aromas of plum, violets, pepper and spice with notes of Bing cherry and cocoa, supported by subtle yet enduring tannins. Pairs well with meat or a meat alternative – especially rich dishes like cassoulet or marinara that stand up to the lush and robust wine.

  • 46% Petit Verdot, 25% Malbec, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petite Sirah
  • Blended by the Band and Winemakers on February 13, 2018, Los Angeles
  • Produced by Echo Echo Wine, Sonoma, California

Music Pairing

Each bottle comes with select songs from Vide Noir curated to enhance the flavors of the wine, plus an exclusive spoken poem from the band.
